Benchmark Your Listings Against Competing Listings

Understanding how well your listings perform against similar listings from your competition helps you to understand when keywords, images, descriptions, or terms need to be optimized for better sales. Use Terapeak to benchmark your listings against the competition.

ⓘ  Benchmark Your Listings Against Competing Listings

  1. Visit sell.terapeak.com and log in to Terapeak.

  2. Ensure that you have linked at least one seller account to Terapeak.

  3. On your MySales dashboard, scroll through your active inventory to find a listing whose performance you'd like to benchmark against the competition.

  4. Click on the benchmark (binoculars) icon for the listing on the far right of the page. Your listing title will be used as the basis for a Product Research 2.0 search.

  5. Once results are displayed, modify search terms if necessary until search results show the complete body of transactions you'd like to compare your listing to.

  6. Note the metrics shown in the metrics row. Metrics for your own listings are shown in green.

  7. Scroll down through search results to compare your listing against competing listings one by one.


Compare Listings One-by-One

Once you have entered the benchmarking workflow, your listing will remain at the top of the page as you scroll through completed transactions. This enables you to compare your own sales metrics to other sellers' listings and outcomes.

Click the 'x' to remove the listing pinned to the top of your results.
